Job Description

Village Capital is seeking a freelance video editor to provide video editing support to the Communications team. The selected editor will be responsible for shaping audiovisual narratives for multiple accelerator programs across different regions by editing short and long-format videos and animating illustrations.

Requirements

• Experience in video editing and animation
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Keen eye for detail
• Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Ability to translate creative visions into actionable plans

Scope of Work

The selected freelance video editor will be responsible for editing short-format videos for program event recaps, animating illustrations for branding videos, and providing creative input and ideas for reels.

Expression of Interest

Interested persons/companies should submit a resume introducing themselves or their company, a cover letter expressing interest in supporting Village Capital’s vide editing projects, and a detailed portfolio or sample projects highlighting relevant video editing skills and demonstrating creativity and innovation. A breakdown of the fee structure, including any additional costs, should also be included with the submission.
