Job Description:

As our company’s demand for video content continues to grow, we are on the lookout for an experienced Professional Video Editor who can take charge in producing and editing high-quality video projects that will capture our audience’s attention. The ideal candidate must be adept at creating visually stunning and engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube shorts that are not only captivating but also align with our brand message and identity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the entire video production process, from conceptualization and storyboarding to post-production and final delivery. They should have a keen eye for detail and be able to execute video projects with a high level of quality and precision while working under tight deadlines.

While a strong portfolio and track record in video production are crucial, we are looking for someone who can also bring a creative spark to our team and provide fresh, innovative ideas that will help elevate our brand’s video content. In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a strong team player and be comfortable with taking on new challenges in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage and assemble video content according to project requirements
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video’s quality
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure a cohesive and engaging final product
• Use video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, or other industry-standard tools
• Incorporate 3D animation and visual effects when necessary
• Ensure all video projects are delivered on time and meet the client’s specifications
• Manage and organize video files using content management systems and FTP

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Avid, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and typography
• Knowledge of 3D animation software is a plus
• Familiarity with content management systems and FTP for file organization and sharing
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team
• A portfolio of previous video editing projects showcasing your skills in different styles and genres is highly desirable

Pay: $21.15 - $25.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
