Job Description:

A graphic design company that creates visual presentations for legal cases is searching for a Technical Graphic Designer to join their team in a remote, temp to hire position! This is an exciting opportunity to participate in an interesting field and work on unique projects as part of a supportive and collaborative team. They are looking for someone with a background in legal/technical graphic design who is proficient using both PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator, as these are the main platforms you will be using! The position is fully remote but ideally candidates should live in the Bay Area of California to be able to come into the office in the beginning. The position will convert to a full hire after one month of successful employment and the company offers great benefits, including 25 days off and additional comp for overtime!

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator
• Technical or legal work experience or a degree in a technical/legal field
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel for trial support
• Strong team orientation and ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable and personable in client interactions
• San Francisco Bay area, CA residents are preferred

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling and explanatory graphics and presentations for legal cases involving complex science, technical, or legal issues
• Work with attorneys to develop PowerPoint presentations for trials, including timelines, illustrations, videos, etc
• Produce animations, particularly 3D animations, for construction or mechanical patent cases
• Focus primarily on graphic work, mainly using PowerPoint for animations
• Participate in all-hands-on-deck project situations, often with quick turnarounds and shifting gears based on project deadlines
• Provide trial site support, including travel to various locations for the duration of trials (approximately 4-6 times a year, voluntary)

Other Information:

Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE
