Job Description:
As a video editor with an intuition for both comedic timing and creating tension, you will play a critical role in bringing the vision we have to life. Your storytelling aptitude informs your ability to craft edits into engaging and on-brand final cuts. Your creative vision is grounded in a solid and well-researched strategy for mastering style and telling clever and captivating stories that both connect with our audience and increase retention. We’re not looking for a passive note-taker. We want an innovator with refined skills and precision to communicate visually, while remaining flexible to iteration and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Adobe Suite - Premiere Pro (Required) Photoshop, After Effects Pluralize Microsoft Office Dropbox DSLR knowledge
- Experience acquired or willing to learn: Intermediate to advanced ability to create special effects (using presets) Experience with motion tracking within Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects (ability to insert text conversation that moves with scene) A strong sense of the narrative mechanics of storytelling Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Comprehension and passion for creativity that influences and enhances team deliverables as we engage in ideation, story writing, etc. Able to work well under tight deadlines and quick project turnover Resume should reflect experience in lead editing
Daily Tasks:
- Organize Footage - Editing final cuts - Color Correction - Executing - Contributing to brainstorming/writing - Asset Organization - Sound Effects - Visual Accents - Audio Mixing
Additional Information:
