Job Description

You’ll be working for a really exciting client, editing videos for famous YouTube channels with over 13 million followers and 2 billion lifetime views. They are currently looking for a Video Editor to join their remote production team. You would be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and informative videos for a wide audience in order to help the channel grow. Ideally, the editor will have skills with shooting and be on set for a deep understanding of the footage they will be editing.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos that incorporate live-action and animation footage, utilizing video editing software and collaborating with animators.
• Work closely with on-screen talent to make sure the video content is accurate and of excellent quality.
• Attend shoots as a camera operator, possibly requiring international travel.
• Ensure that the channel’s visual language and editing style built over the last decade is continued within all future edits.
• Edit YouTube shorts and cutdowns for other social media platforms.

Main Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production.
• Excellent knowledge of video production software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other related software.
• Experience and a strong understanding of YouTube and social media platforms.
