Job Description:
A Java Fullstack Developer is needed for a W2 contract position. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications, with a focus on the backend using Java 8 and Spring Frameworks. The candidate should have experience building REST APIs and microservices, and be familiar with AWS. The frontend development will involve working with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The candidate should have the ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code and possess good communication skills for internal demos and presentations.
Requirements:
- B.S in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of credentials and experience
- High proficiency in Java (Core Java, J2EE) and Java 8
- Experience with building REST APIs and working with JSON
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Experience with AWS
- Familiarity with SQL. PL/SQL is a plus
- Experience with Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Web MVC, Spring AOP, etc.)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline. Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Angular (updated versions) for frontend development
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- Very good communication skills for internal demos and presentations
