Job Description

Esports Illustrated is looking for a Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, your responsibilities will include preliminary edits on high-quality video essays, micro-documentaries, and other similar media. You will also work closely with the social media team to create short-form content for relevant social media platforms. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Creative Director/Video Producer to create shows and YouTube videos.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working in video and digital content
• 3+ years of experience editing interviews
• Experience using Adobe suite products, specifically Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Skilled in creating professional and engaging video content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
• Understanding of YouTube and relevant social media algorithms and how to apply them to create effective videos
• Able to manage requests to ensure weekly deadlines are met
• Ability to identify shareable moments sourced from long-form content
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Additional Information

• Location/Shift: Remote
• Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
