Job Description:

CBS Sports is seeking an Associate Producer (AP) to produce podcasts for air on CBS Sports Network. The AP will be responsible for various tasks including acting as the Graphics/Font Coordinator on studio shows, researching newsworthy events, collaborating on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage, creating graphics and breaking news elements, and editing content on Adobe Premiere. The AP should have knowledge of Inception and be able to create and produce segments from control rooms through a rundown.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in broadcast/digital/podcast, producing segments
• Experience in a control room
• Knowledge about social media and the competitive digital news environment
• Strong communication skills to work optimally with different departments
• Time management skills
• Basic video editing skills using Adobe Premiere
• Able to work flexible hours and on weekends

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with intense deadline pressure
• Strong understanding of Photoshop
• Familiarity with Inception/ENPS/iNews
• Experience with podcast production
• Hands-on experience with a variety of sports productions, including control room experience
• Knowledge of the sports landscape and ability to think creatively visually
