Job Description:

CTR Group is seeking a Graphic Designer for an exciting opportunity with a Research Firm in Newport News, VA. This is a Temp position for 3 Months or longer with possibility to extend for 6 Months. 30-35 hours per week. Pay Range: $30.80 per Hour (incl. Health & Welfare)

In this role, you will support our client’s mission by producing informative, visually appealing content for their scientists and lab community via social media, internal memos, digital information boards, and print materials. We’re looking for a temporary worker who has the ability to produce innovative, forward-thinking design while respecting the Company’s standards. Assist Graphic Designers with design of print and digital collateral. Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines. Create social media design content. Create digital information board screen images. Receive feedback from team members and make necessary changes. Support the Communications team as needed.

Requirements:

• Working proficiency in Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, color, and other fundamental design principles for digital and print content.
• Candidate must be a US citizen.
• Must be available to work 30-35 hours per week.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Candidate must be able to work onsite three days a week.

Qualifications We Desire:

• Photography, animation, video editing, or illustration skills are a plus.
• An exciting portfolio of work.
