Job Description

Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Create illustrations and fulfill other graphic design needs, such as email design, digital ad design, and occasional print projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects, including calls, emails, and chats.

Develop mockups based on wireframes (occasionally create wireframes).

Availability to be on call or working on projects 9-5pm weekdays EST, with an option to work over the weekend if needed.

Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout all design elements.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design.

No coding required.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a User Interface Designer or similar role.

Proven work designing for corporate companies.

Proficiency in design tools such as Visio, InVision, Axure, and Figma.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong understanding of interaction design principles and usability best practices.

Familiarity with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (just aware of capabilities and limitations, no coding required).

Knowledge of responsive design techniques and frameworks like Bootstrap.

Proven graphic design skills, from print to web, illustration to branding.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills to present and explain design concepts.

Availability to be on call for projects 9-5pm EST (will check availability before starting a project).

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10-20 per week

Experience level: 3 years

Schedule: Monday to Friday, On call, Weekends as needed
