Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Graphic Designer that is a quick learner, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and be able to thrive in a production environment. Your attention to detail in creating professional-looking graphics and labels will contribute to the overall success of our projects. In this role, we are specifically looking for an individual with a strong emphasis on execution, as the focus is less on creativity and more on efficient implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating imagery, layouts and copy for labels
• Take accountability for the accurate production of labels, ensuring they meet quality standards
• Work closely with senior designers to revise and enhance existing graphic materials
• Implement changes to design elements based on feedback and project requirements
• Review final copy, layouts and content in print and digital form
• Ensure details such as resolution, color, size, and production values meet specified standards
• Scale and crop, retouch, change layout and eliminate redundancy in copy
• Understanding of basic design elements such as perspective, typography, color schemes, and layout/tone.
• Ability to multitask with a strong emphasis put on organization and time management
• Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines

Requirements

Critical Competencies

Required

• Expert in Adobe, CorelDraw and InDesign programs
• Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities
• Dependable with effective interpersonal skills
• Production-oriented, ability to work in fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/related field or 2 years of graphic design experience with proficiency in Adobe, CorelDraw, In Design

Additional Information

Schedule: M/T/W/TH (can work out a flexible schedule) 15-20 hours/wk.

Pay: $21/hr.
