Job Description

The Williamstown Theatre Festival is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to be a part of their Marketing & Communications team for the 2024 season. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating both online and print materials to promote the festival.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a creative graphic designer with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a strong attention to detail. They should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a passion for the arts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Designing season/show programs and publications
• Creating various marketing materials such as posters, print ads, and social media graphics
• Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team on project objectives
• Managing tight print production deadlines
• Ensuring materials reflect the Festival’s brand and messaging

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Google Suite
• Experience in graphic design, preferably in the arts or entertainment field
• Familiarity with email designing software and basic web design tools is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Passion for the performing arts and a commitment to the success of the Williamstown Theatre Festival

Additional Information

Classification: Seasonal

Status: Exempt

Location: In-person

Compensation: $1,000/week

Hiring Timeline: Applications accepted until position is filled with a priority deadline of March 20. Interviews start on March 25, anticipated start date June 5.
