Pertemps are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our client’s team at a large head office retailer in Plymouth, UK. This is a temporary to permanent position with a competitive salary awaiting the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Social Media Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of all online presence, responsible for managing multiple social media channels while staying true to their brand identity. Your role will involve crafting engaging written, graphic, and video content, exploring new social media avenues, and devising strategies to connect with audiences and boost company turnover.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end company social media channels under the guidance of the Social Media Manager.
- Create captivating content across various media formats.
- Explore and establish presence on emerging social media platforms.
- Optimise content for SEO and encourage audience interaction.
- Collaborate on large-scale social media campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities and propose innovative content ideas.
- Stay updated on social media trends and integrate them into our strategy.
- Utilise analytics tools to measure campaign success and prepare insightful reports.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and brand awareness.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure targets are met.
- Implement influencer endorsements to bolster our social media strategy.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Demonstrable creative flair with a keen eye for design.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with clear communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience with design software such as Adobe, Corel, or Photoshop is desirable.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and paid advertising is a plus.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset and independent thinking capabilities.
Requirements
Full time, temporary to permanent opportunity. Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm. Salary to be discussed on application.
