We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Video Editor to join our growing business part-time. The ideal candidate will be passionate about video editing, possess a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and have a keen eye for detail. Travel opportunities will be on the horizon for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in editing a variety of video projects, including but not limited to promotional videos, event coverage, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project objectives and deliver content that aligns with the company’s vision.
• Execute basic video editing tasks such as cutting, trimming, and sequencing footage.
• Add graphics, effects, and sound to enhance the overall visual appeal of videos.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of the final output, adhering to the company’s style guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve editing skills.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in video editing software Final Cut Pro & After Effects.
• Proficiency in Adobe programmes Photoshop & Lightroom.
• Basic knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Understanding of Social Media Platforms such as Instagram & TikTok.
