Job Description

Blue Carbon Design is seeking an Entry Level Graphic Designer to join their team. This is a full-time position based in south Overland Park. The designer will be involved in various design projects, primarily focusing on business collateral for new home communities.

Requirements & Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
• Strong skills in layout design, logo design, and color theory
• Experience in vector illustration
• Ability to generate creative ideas and present multiple styles and color options for print and digital media
• Excellent communication skills with customers
• Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram posting
• Collaborative team player with professionalism

Responsibilities

• Assist in branding, logo design, e-blast, e-flyer creation, advertisements, social media graphics, and more
• Maintain and update over 50 websites with client information

Other Information

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week
• Benefits: Paid time off
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Adobe InDesign: 1 year, Adobe Photoshop: 1 year, Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required)
