Job Description

This is a contract role for the position of Freelance Video Editor at B.E.S. Inc. located in Sarasota, FL. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with the company’s brand and standards, editing and post-production work, creating and inserting animations and visual effects, as well as reviewing and revising existing video content. This is a hybrid role, implying that it is located in Sarasota, FL but some work can be done from home.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and post-production
• Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer
• Experience with motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Maya
• Experience with sound design and color correction
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, and the ability to take direction from a creative team
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree not necessary Associate, High School or higher in Video Editing, Film Production, or a related field
• Strong portfolio with creative and technically proficient video editing projects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
