Job Description

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis initially, with the opportunity for a full-time position. As a Video Editor at Crew Pictures, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and visually stunning marketing videos for a variety of clients across different industries. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video and possesses the technical skills to bring creative concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos that align with client specifications and brand guidelines.
• Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and sound elements to enhance the overall production value of each video.
• Ensure seamless transitions, audio clarity, and visual continuity throughout the editing process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project milestones.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing software and techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Competent students encouraged to apply as well as professional editors.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Da Vinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of cinematography, composition, and storytelling principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Flexibility to work on a part-time freelance basis initially with the potential for full-time employment.
