Location: Remote

Contract: Full Time, Contractor

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for frontend and backend full stack development using a MEAN stack on a critical production application used by thousands of doctors daily. Responsibilities include understanding existing code, designing new features, investigating outages, improving test coverage, refactoring code, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with other teams.

Requirements

Proficiency in MongoDB, JavaScript, ExpressJS, Angular, and NodeJS is required. Experience with AWS services like API Gateway, EC2, and CodePipeline is necessary. Expertise in Angular for non-trivial web applications and familiarity with large, complex codebases are essential. The candidate must be able to work independently and remotely, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and task management systems (e.g., Jira). Prior experience with agile development methodologies and 5+ years of practical industry experience are required.

Bonus Qualifications

Knowledge or experience in healthcare system technologies, DevOps experience, and UNIX system administration experience are considered beneficial.

Pay: $90,702.35 - $109,232.94 per year
