Job Description
Riverkeeper is looking for a Graphic Artist to create an environmental systems map for the Hudson River Watershed Surface Drinking Water Climate Vulnerability Matrix. The assignment involves illustrating connectivity in the hydrologic system to help communities understand climate change impacts on drinking water. The project runs from April 22 to May 30, 2024.
Requirements
- Strong experience in creating ecological system graphic designs and illustrations.
- Ability to integrate designs into planning documents and adapt work to organizational design standards.
- Capability to translate complex ideas into digestible graphic art.
- Comfort working and collaborating with Scientists, Natural Resource Managers, and Planning Specialists.
- Familiarity with the Hudson River Watershed is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop or similar design software.
- Availability for 15-20 hours per week from April 22 to May 30, 2024.
Additional Information
- Hourly rate: $45.00 - $55.00
