Job Description

Create Better Health (Utah’s SNAP-Ed), housed at Utah State University Extension, is seeking a highly creative and motivated Graphic Designer (Graphic Designer II) to join our state team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a vital role in visually communicating research, innovation, and programming to various audiences. You will be responsible for creating modern, visually compelling design materials such as print collateral, digital content, infographics, presentations, reports, and social media assets while maintaining brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Create Better Health state team on goals for designed materials.
• Develop creative visual materials for different mediums.
• Maintain and enhance ASPIRE’s brand identity.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for visual content ideas.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field with 4 years of experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Create Better Health branding and image.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of web design, UI/UX design, and multimedia production is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Other Information

• This position is remote within the state of Utah, with out-of-state work subject to review.
• Salary: $40 per hour.
• Employees work indoors, and the job involves sitting, hand motions, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
