Job Description
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
Responsibilities
- Design various types of graphics including logos, brochures, banners, and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts
- Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
- Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
Qualifications
- Proficient in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Knowledge of print advertising, typesetting, motion graphics, and video editing
- Strong understanding of design principles
- Excellent communication skills to present ideas effectively
- Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus
Additional Information
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
- Schedule: 4-hour shift, weekends as needed
- Ability to Relocate: Hamden, CT 06514 - Relocate before starting work (Required)
- Work Location: In person
