Job Description

We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy Social Media Manager to join Mango Languages. This role requires expertise in social media, video production, PR, and promotional events, coupled with outstanding communication skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building our brand, promoting our digital presence, embracing language, and fostering cultural understanding. The candidate will help build the voice of our brand, play a pivotal role in growing our community, manage all social media channels, and bring our core purpose of enriching lives with language and culture to life.

Requirements

• Proficiency with all major social media platforms, including TikTok, and familiarity with emerging trends in social media marketing.
• Experience with on-camera appearances and basic video production skills.
• Previous experience working in an agency setting, demonstrating the ability to handle diverse client needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) marketing.
• Familiarity with project management software, enabling effective coordination and organization of tasks and projects.

Additional Information

• This position is entirely remote; however, preference will be given to candidates located in the Metro Detroit area.
• Knowledge of another language, passion for language learning, a background in languages, or other cultures are nice-to-have qualifications.
