Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content for our television series, online platform, and other digital channels. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that our videos meet our quality standards and effectively communicate educational concepts to our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging video content
• Enhance video and audio quality using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Add visual effects, graphics, and animations as needed
• Ensure continuity and consistency throughout the video
• Adapt video content to different specifications for YouTube, broadcast, and other digital platforms
• Collaborate with the production team to develop creative concepts and storytelling approaches
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under tight schedules
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, visual storytelling, and narrative structure
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in editing style
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively
• Knowledge of editing for different specifications, including YouTube and broadcast standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in educational media or related fields
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects)
• Knowledge of color correction and audio editing techniques
• Portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects
