Job Description
This is a full-time or part-time role for a freelance video editor at DigitalJoy Club. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing videos, color grading, creating motion graphics, and designing graphics. The role is a hybrid position that involves working primarily in the San Diego office with the option for remote work on certain projects. Initially, the focus will be on creating content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn platforms, as well as contributing to brand-building and client onboarding efforts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in shooting and editing videos
- Proficiency in Video Production, Video Editing, Video Color Grading, and Motion Graphics
- Strong skills in graphic design, video titles, and thumbnails creation
- Excellent creative and storytelling abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a keen attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and the capacity to thrive in a team environment
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Experience in marketing or advertising is a plus
- Own transportation
