Job Description:

As a Full Stack Developer - Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven applications and systems. You will work closely with the team to build scalable solutions using front-end and back-end technologies. Your tasks will involve designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications, managing APIs for data access, implementing data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines, conducting quality assurance testing, optimizing performance and scalability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data security and compliance, and maintaining system documentation.

Requirements:

Here are the mandatory skills required for this role:

  • 8+ years of Java application development experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience in front-end and back-end application development
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, and related frameworks
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Understanding of design principles for scalability
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and RESTful web services
  • Experience with various technologies such as JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, JDBC, MQ, SOAP
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies
  • Experience with agile development processes and version control tools
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data processing frameworks
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Experience working with large datasets and data models
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable skills for this role include ETL experience, knowledge of specific database technologies and tools, IBM Master Data Management, and experience with metadata-driven enterprise reporting platforms. Prior experience working on complex data integration projects is a plus.

Additional Information:

This role involves coordinating appropriate security scan accreditations, performing special projects as assigned, and developing cloud-ready applications.
