Job Description

SFFILM is seeking an Institutional Graphic Designer to support a branding refresh and update of institutional assets and campaigns, ensuring alignment with SFFILM’s branding and business goals. The designer will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Team to produce various media that enhance SFFILM’s mission and brand through top-notch design.

Responsibilities

• Audit current style guides and branding
• Produce an updated Brand Style Guide
• Create branded assets for institutional collateral and campaigns
• Design print and digital assets for year-round branding and event-driven materials
• Produce static and motion graphics for social media and email campaigns
• Create print and digital signage and media
• Manage multiple projects from concept to completion

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of branding, composition, and typography
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proficiency in After Effects is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with superior file management skills
• Ability to work within and adhere to a style guide
• Experience working with grid systems

Additional Information

• This is a temporary, part-time role based in the Bay Area, with a hybrid in-person and remote schedule
• Pay rate is $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
• Preferred start date is July 22, with the agreement running through December 14, 2024
