Gala gig
Sound Technician is needed in Chicago, United States.
I am currently in the early stages of planning personal project and looking for a mid-level audio engineer for a gala gig in Chicago, scheduled for November 2024. The requirement includes live sound management for a 5-7 piece jazz band in a large venue, specifically a hotel in Rosemont. The band lineup includes drums, bass, guitar, saxophone or trumpet, piano, with the potential inclusion of one or two additional instruments. The hotel ballroom already has speakers set up and the sound engineer would need to bring their own mics and mixer to integrate with the existing system. The duration of the gig is for a period of roughly four hours.
