Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Social Media Associate! We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for comics and pop culture to support our Marketing team at Dark Horse Comics. The Social Media Associate will be responsible for social media planning, posting, scheduling, and customer service. This position will also assist in sharing news, managing new releases, and performing general administrative office duties.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent relevant work experience and/or working toward a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to be proactive and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and all major social media platforms. Apple/Mac OS experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for comics, book publishing, and/or pop culture is preferred.

Additional Information:

This is a temporary (90 days), part-time position offering $18/hour with approximately 30 hours per week. Dark Horse Comics offers a collaborative work environment that values creativity, continuous learning, and employee growth.
