Job Description:
The UI/UX Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing a user-centric interface for the GSA Workplace Reservation System. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive user interface, optimizing user experience, customization, creating interactive floor plans, integrating user feedback, testing and validation, collaborating with other teams, and providing detailed documentation.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in UI/UX design and engineering, preferably in a government or federal contracting environment.
Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar, understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, visual design skills, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design projects.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in UI/UX design are a plus.
Knowledge: Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance and IT security best practices.
