Job Description

Our company is proliferating and is searching for experienced candidates for the Video Editor position. We ask that you have a high technical proficiency with the ability to configure a variety of cameras and equipment, along with an understanding of best practices to capture media formats and other aspect ratios. Basic requirements of this position include assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer. You will also be responsible for inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs. Additionally, you will input graphics to enhance footage and digitally splice film and video, synchronizing them into one rough cut file. We seek candidates who can edit music to maximize impact, work closely with directors, producers, and other team members, and act as a calming influence at the center of production, all while possessing a technical and creative passion for videography.

Requirements

• High technical proficiency with camera and equipment configuration
• Understanding of best practices for capturing media formats and aspect ratios
• Ability to assemble raw footage and upload it to a computer
• Experience in inputting sound to enhance footage, including music selection and writing voice-overs
