Stack AI is on the hunt for a talented and dedicated Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join our team at the forefront of cutting-edge AI technology. Co-founded by two MIT PhDs and backed by Y Combinator, Gradient Ventures, and Soma Capital, we provide an unparalleled opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup from the ground up, as you help shape our product, culture, and future success.

As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer at Stack AI, you will commit to working on this project for 60+ hours per week, immersing yourself in our mission and growth, and mastering all key technologies for web development while staying up-to-date with the latest advancements.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Has ALL Of The Following Qualifications:

• Expertise in front-end development using popular technologies (React, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Threejs)
• Proficiency in backend development for web applications with a strong grasp of the modern tech stack (Postgres, Web security, MongoDB, FastAPI, Pydantic, Supabase, NodeJS)
• Solid understanding of contemporary AI technologies and algorithms (LLMs, Transformers, Diffusion models, Text Embeddings, Toolformers, Low Rank Adaptation, Vector Databases, KDtrees, etc.)
• Excellence in product design and engineering; ability to empathize with user pains and experiences, and translate them into features and UX
• Comfort engaging with customers and adapting to a fast-paced iterative environment
