Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wedding Video Editor who can transform raw footage into beautiful, timeless films that reflect the essence of each couple’s love story. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a deep understanding of cinematic techniques.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a deep understanding of cinematic techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Review raw footage and create a cohesive, engaging narrative that tells the story of the wedding day.
• Produce a 4-minute highlight video, ceremony coverage video, reception coverage video, and Instagram reel video.
• Incorporate audio bits of vows and guest speeches throughout the highlight video to enhance emotional impact.
• Edit video and audio footage to create a polished final product, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Receive feedback after delivery and include rounds of revisions until clients are satisfied with the end result.
• Have fast upload and download speeds to manage raw footage from Google Drive and upload final videos back to Google Drive.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing software and trends in wedding videography to improve video quality.

Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Bridge and Capture One.
• Familiarity with 2D animation software.
• Experience in photography, photo editing, and film production.
• Familiarity with Maya is a plus.

Experience:

• Final Cut Pro: 3 years (Required)
• Adobe Photoshop: 3 years (Required)

Pay: $20.42 - $23.29 per hour
