Videographer is needed in Tanzania.

We are looking for a Videographer to craft visual narratives to highlight projects completed by the Vern Lal Global Foundation (vlalgf.org) in Tanzania. This footage will appear on our website.

The project is to create visually and emotionally striking video narratives that describe the initiatives completed by the Vern Lal Global Foundation in Tanzania. These narratives will include specifics on what these initiatives are, as well as how these initiatives have transformed the lives of the benefactors. The expert should have the following skill set:

STORYTELLING ABILITY: Must be able to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. This involves developing scripts and understanding the emotional journey of the viewer.

CREATIVITY: The ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas for visuals and narratives is vital. This includes experimenting with different techniques and styles to keep content fresh and engaging.

VIDEOGRAPHY: Understanding camera operations, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and color balance, is fundamental. Should know how to frame shots effectively and utilize different lenses and lighting techniques to enhance video quality.

VIDEO EDITING: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro is crucial. This includes skills in cutting, assembling footage, adding effects, and ensuring smooth transitions to create a cohesive narrative.

AUDIO MANAGEMENT: Knowledge of audio equipment and techniques is essential for capturing clear sound, which can significantly impact the overall video quality. This includes using microphones effectively and understanding audio editing.

CINEMATOGRAPHY: A strong grasp of cinematographic principles, including composition, lighting, and camera movement, is necessary to create visually engaging content. This includes the ability to tell a story through visuals and effectively convey emotions.

PRODUCTION PLANNING: Skills in planning and organizing shoots, including location scouting and scheduling, help ensure that projects run smoothly. This involves coordinating with various team members and managing logistics.

LIGHTING TECHNIQUES: Mastery of lighting is critical. Good lighting can significantly enhance the quality of a video, while poor lighting can detract from it. Understanding how to manipulate light to achieve desired effects is a key skill.
