Job Description
I require an illustrator who is conversant with Photoshop manipulation to create characters from photographic images, possibly even using AI. I have written a children’s (concept), illustrated book that requires the illustrator’s input as it is heavily based on mental health issues within children. The work is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, so unfortunately, no one outside Scotland will be considered. The first book will be the first of many, so the initial illustrations need to be creative enough to carry through the series.
Requirements
1. Proficiency in Photoshop manipulation
2. Experience in creating characters from photographic images
3. Familiarity with using AI for illustration
4. Understanding of mental health issues, especially in children
5. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland (no remote work considered)
6. Ability to create illustrations that can be carried through a series of books
Additional Information
The role is intended for an ongoing project, with opportunities for future collaborations related to subsequent books in the series.
