Job Description

The Front End UI/UX Developer Designer role involves approximately 30% design and 70% development/implementation. The primary responsibilities include designing and developing the software UI components for the client’s multi-tier web environment. Key tasks involve creating, implementing, and improving user interface components for core applications, modernizing existing HTML, and defining front-end look and feel standards. The role also requires creating wireframes, implementing front-end frameworks, and collaborating with back-end developers for UI component integration while acting as a knowledge expert for the team.

Requirements

Required Critical Skills - MUST HAVES:

  • Extensive experience developing web, social, and other digital platforms (JQuery/JavaScript/HTML/HTML5/CSS/CSS3/AJAX/JSTL) (Required)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Vue 2+ (Required)
  • Experience with Responsive design and/or Mobile design (Required)
  • Ability to analyze, design, code, inspect, debug, and test the user interface (Required)
  • Experience prototyping/wireframe rich interactions quickly with a focus on user experience (Required)

Recommended Skills:

  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash (Recommended)

Nice to have Skills:

  • Experience evaluating tools/frameworks to be implemented through UI interface
  • Experience in Java, AJAX, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
  • Working knowledge of Spring framework
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular 1x, Angular 4+, others
