Job Description

The role involves estimating time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, adapting existing illustrations, and assisting in developing storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia, interactive and digital products, and television advertising. The candidate will produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations, coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, and determine the medium best suited to achieve the desired visual effect and appropriate communication vehicle. Additional responsibilities include developing graphic elements that meet clients’ objectives, preparing sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, and conducting usability testing.

Requirements

Education: College/CEGEP.

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a relevant field.

Computer and technology knowledge: Proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max, Unity3D, Autodesk Maya, and Unreal Engine.

Type of production art: Experience in Animation and Visual Effects.

Equipment and machinery experience: Familiarity with Blender.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Strong attention to detail, ability to sit for extended periods, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability: Must demonstrate client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral and written communication abilities, show initiative, be a team player, and exhibit creativity.
