Job Description

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work at Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC. This role involves designing and developing innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the newest technology stack. As part of the team, you will lead the agile development of web applications used by thousands of Registered Investment Advisors, delivering comprehensive brokerage solutions such as account management, trading, compliance, market research, portfolio management, and margin lending. The development team fosters collaboration, creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements

• Advanced full stack software development experience.
• Experience transforming web applications from AngularJS to modern versions of Angular.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot for building enterprise applications.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Leadership skills to guide, encourage, and motivate fellow engineers.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with source control and pull requests in Bitbucket/Stash.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
