Job Description

ARU Students’ Union is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join its team on the Chelmsford/Cambridge campus for 21 hours per week. The role involves creating marketing materials for onsite bars, cafes, and shops across all campuses, collaborating closely with other team members and the Graphic Designer on various design projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Understanding of the hospitality industry’s unique design needs and consumer behavior.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant graphic design software.
• Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse teams.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Location

This role will be based at the Cambridge or Chelmsford Campus, with travel to either campus required.
