Job Description

I’m looking for a skilled and creative video editor to help bring my DIY and home decor content to life! This is a per-project freelance role with the potential for ongoing work and growth for the right fit. As the channel grows, so will the volume of videos—and your pay! I’m seeking someone interested in building a long-term partnership.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos for YouTube (typically 10-15 minutes long).
• Enhance storytelling with smooth cuts, pacing, and visual flow.
• Add dynamic effects, transitions, text overlays, and graphics as needed.
• Ensure high-quality sound design, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
• Collaborate on thumbnails and assist in optimizing for engagement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Experience editing engaging, fast-paced YouTube videos.
• Strong sense of pacing and timing to keep viewers engaged.
• Ability to incorporate feedback and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Familiarity with DIY/home decor niches or similar genres.
