Job Description

We are a nationally recognized designer and manufacturer of outdoor recreation products sold under the brands PoolCandy, AirCandy, YardCandy, and SnowCandy. We design all our products in Miami, Florida, and manufacture them overseas, with distribution in major national retailers like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, Macy’s, and Walmart. We are seeking a talented designer to work alongside our product development and art team through every stage of our product design—from concept design to prototype and production—ultimately seeing the products on national retail store shelves. This is an on-site position in our Miami Office.

Responsibilities

• Convert rough product ideas into visual prototypes (e.g., sketches, layout drafts, renders) to illustrate concepts for creative reviews.
• Participate in generating new product ideas.
• Prepare visually appealing sales presentations.
• Contribute to designing catalogs and all marketing materials.
• Assist the product development team in executing photoshoots, including helping on set and post-production photo editing.
• Stay current with fashion and product trends in the marketplace.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in graphic design.
• Strong work ethic and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Exceptional skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign are required).
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Outstanding design skills with a clear grasp of layout, color theory, and typography.
• Strong photo editing skills.
• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain the integrity of design amidst fast turnaround times and high expectations.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working.
• Video and photography skills are a plus, but not required.
