Job Description

As a Video Editor at Social Imprint, you will be responsible for editing both short-form content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, as well as long-form videos for YouTube and podcasts. We’re looking for someone who is not just technically proficient but also highly creative, innovative, and deeply in tune with the latest video editing trends. While short-form content is currently the focus, having a strong grasp of long-form content creation is essential as well.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Edit both short-form (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos (YouTube, podcasts) that are visually captivating and strategically aligned with our brand and client goals.
• Keep up with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and platform updates to ensure our content is always fresh, creative, and impactful.
• Work with Account Managers and Social Media Managers to ensure that all content is aligned with client objectives, brand standards, and overall marketing strategy.
• Juggle multiple video projects at once, managing tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Creativity and flexibility in editing approaches, using CapCut and/or other editing tools like Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form content.
• Deep understanding of social media video trends, particularly in the real estate or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut preferred, but Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and others are also valued).
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
