4Studio is the driving force behind C4โs digital acceleration strategy, with the objective to create, adapt and distribute brilliant content across our social and digital channels, building engaged audiences that deliver digital views at scale.
Working alongside a dedicated content production team, you will be creating original social food content for multiple different platforms. The Video Editor, Food requires a passion and strong knowledge of what works across the food content spectrum on all social media platforms. You should be technically versatile and comfortable collaborating with production crew and other stakeholders. You will be an expert in editing technology and Adobe CC, with experience of creating content to briefs and being detail obsessed and creatively driven.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable social food content experience and strong video editing capability.
- Skilled video editor with a good understanding of social food content trends and techniques.
- Expert with Premiere Pro and, ideally, After Effects.
- Good knowledge of all areas of social food video content creation, able to execute a truly social-first video edit to timely delivery.
- Expert understanding of post-production, from motion-graphics and colour grading to data wrangling, ingestion, and distribution.
- Strong experience in editing creative projects to meet a creative brief.
- Able to quickly edit topical food content to the required standard to jump on trends.
- Strong awareness of best practices across multiple platforms and technical specifications for asset delivery.
- Thorough understanding of processes, workflows, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience working for a broadcaster, social publisher brand, or in an agency environment.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as productions require.
- Proven experience of establishing close working relationships and able to communicate with differing departments.
Additional Information
Hybrid Working: From September 2023, employees will work a minimum of 3 days per week in their office location. The other 2 days should be working from home. This structure aims to create more time for collaboration, creativity, learning, and feedback. A working from another location policy allows for up to 10 days of remote work. This pattern is subject to future changes, which will be communicated in advance to provide employees with adequate notice.
