I am producing a short film titled SideTracked, a heartfelt, faith-based coming-of-age drama centered on identity, grace, and healing. The story follows Lilly, a high school track star whose life revolves around performance, perfection, and the approval of her overbearing mother. When a devastating injury threatens her dreams and identity, Lilly is forced to confront who she truly is beyond her achievements. With the gentle support of her boyfriend, a kind woman from church, and ultimately her faith, Lilly discovers her value is not in what she can do—but in who she already is.

This is a redemptive and emotionally rich story with themes of:

Family reconciliation
Finding identity in Christ
Healing from performance-based love
Mentorship and spiritual awakening

I’m looking for passionate, dedicated actors and actresses who can bring emotional depth, subtlety, and authenticity to their roles. This is a character-driven project with moments of vulnerability, warmth, and spiritual transformation.

Lilly (Lead) – Female, late teens (17–18), athletic build preferred. Strong emotional range required.

Angela (Supporting) – Female, 40s, disciplined, emotionally distant mother who transforms over time.

Tre (Supporting) – Male, 17–19, Lilly’s steady and encouraging boyfriend. Grounded, kind.
