Children's book illustrations

Illustrator is needed in United States.

I am looking for an illustrator to create artwork for a few children’s stories written by my father. He is nearing 75 years old and has a dream of having these stories published. It is important to us that the illustrator has a connection to Puerto Rican culture. We would love to see samples of your work that align with this vision.

This is a personal project, and while I can provide some examples of preferred styles, we are open to exploring different approaches as well. There may be potential for follow-up work depending on how this project progresses.

Who are you, and what do you do
I’m the author’s daughter… my dad is nearing age 75 and it is his dream to have his children’s stories published. We are located in Chicago IL but we are from Puerto Rico and I know it’s important to him to have an illustrator who is also Puerto Rican. Thank you!
