Job Description
We are looking for a creative and passionate well-rounded part-time editor to join our team and engage in exciting projects. You will be responsible for crafting visually engaging content for a wide range of clients and delivering content in various formats for different social platforms. This role includes attending online client meetings to discuss upcoming projects and pitching your ideas. You will edit raw project assets into professional video content, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, including colour grading, to meet client satisfaction by aligning with brand guidelines. Additionally, you’ll create content for our own social platforms and website. Given the client-facing nature of the role, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with experience in handling constructive feedback and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
• Experience: 3+ years experience in video editing.
• Attendance: Attend online client meetings to take briefs or provide updates and commute to Birmingham at least twice per month.
• Creative Contribution: Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, attention-grabbing videos, incorporating music, graphics, and captions while ensuring all videos meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
• Organisation: Maintain organized project files and ensure project folders are backed up on Cloud storage.
• Social Media Skills: Promote video content on social media channels and have in-depth knowledge of social media trends and requirements.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, and intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage projects to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with clients.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, tight deadlines, and a fast-paced work environment.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve technical issues during the editing phase.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing projects you’ve edited.
Desirable Skills
• Video analytics: Monitor social media analytics to optimize video content strategies.
• Design: Experience in creating YouTube thumbnails, social media, and website artwork.

Additional Information
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm.
Contract length: 12 months.
Pay: £16,500.00-£18,000.00 per year.
Expected hours: 22.5 per week.
Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham B24.
