DICE Brand Ad - Uni Project

I’m directing a short brand video for DICE (ticketing platform) that explores the emotional journey of a fan navigating the highs and lows of trying to get into a sold-out gig — told through a stylised, cinematic lens. The film follows a three-act structure: Rejection, Resurrection, and Alternation, each with distinct emotional and visual tones that rely heavily on thoughtful colour grading.

The project has finished shooting and is currently in the offline editing stage. The final delivery will include one full-length cut (1 minute 45 seconds), and 2 cutdowns: (60 seconds), and (30 seconds).

We’re aiming for a cinematic but playful vibe — blending vintage film aesthetics (with subtle grain and vignette) dreamy, and bold colour contrast. The palette evolves across the acts: starting gloomy, building warmth and vibrancy, and reaching a high point of full colour and energy in the final euphoric gig scene.
