Podcast Editor (Freelance or Part-Time)
We’re looking for a podcast editor who’s not just skilled—but a true storyteller.

If you’re someone who understands the power of sound to move people—who can take a raw conversation and polish it into an immersive, binge-worthy audio experience—this might be your dream gig.

We want someone who doesn’t just cut out “ums” and silences, but someone who can craft a seamless, engaging journey for the listener from the first second to the last.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Intro + Outro Creation: Design and evolve custom intro/outro music that feels aligned with the brand, tone, and target audience of our podcast. Not just music, but resonance.

Hook + Curiosity Loop: Select and clip a powerful, curiosity-driven moment from each episode and start the podcast with it, backed by music that emotionally pulls the listener in. Your job is to spark interest fast—then ease into the official intro.

Seamless Transitions: Blend the cold open, intro, main episode, and outro with smooth transitions that feel cinematic and intentional.

Polished Audio: Remove filler words, long silences, interruptions, and anything else that breaks flow. Make the dialogue punchy and engaging while still natural.

Sound Quality: Clean up background noise, level volumes, add subtle enhancements (EQ, compression, etc.) so that every episode sounds crisp, clear, and enjoyable.

Consistency: Maintain a consistent tone and brand across episodes while improving over time.

Ideal Candidate:
You have experience editing podcasts (please share samples!)
You know how to tell stories through sound—not just technically, but emotionally

You’re a master at hooks—you get what makes someone keep listening after the first 30 seconds

You’re detail-oriented and don’t let filler words, awkward pauses, or messy transitions slide

You’re creative and open to feedback—and also bring your own artistic touch

You care about making things better every episode

Bonus Points If You:

-Can provide strategic input on structure, storytelling, or listener engagement
-Have experience with sound design or scoring
-Understand podcast branding and audience psychology
-Have worked on interview-style or mindset/entrepreneurial shows before
