Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to manage and edit video content for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and a strong understanding of editing techniques and industry best practices. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with our clients’ branding and messaging. The role requires proficiency in video editing software and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting while adhering to strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, including corporate videos, promotional content, social media videos, and more
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and creative direction
• Ensure all videos are edited to the highest standards, with attention to detail in color correction, sound design, and pacing
• Create motion graphics, special effects, and animations as required by the project
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
• Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, software, and techniques to continually improve the quality of work
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with clients to refine video edits
• Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms, including social media,
• websites, and internal use.

Required Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work

2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects)

3. Experience with color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics creation

4. Strong creative skills and an excellent eye for visual storytelling

5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines

6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output

7. Knowledge of video formats, resolutions, and compression techniques

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

9. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges and client feedback.

Voice Note Submission Requirement

To ensure clear communication and professionalism, all candidates must submit a 30–60 second voice note introducing themselves and explaining their approach to video editing. The voice note will help us assess your communication skills, which are crucial for this role. Applications without a voice note will not be considered.
