Job Description

We are seeking a Freelance Social Media Manager to join a fast-paced, creative content agency working with a major global music brand. This role involves launching a high-impact campaign targeting Gen Z, blending beauty, music, and bold energy. The position is part-time, requiring 3 days of work per week, with 2 days spent in the office based in Kingston Upon Thames. The ideal candidate is expected to start ASAP for a duration of 3 months with the potential for extension.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day content planning and scheduling for Instagram and TikTok.
• Collaborate with creatives to develop bold, engaging ideas.
• Write engaging, platform-native copy that appeals to Gen Z.
• Source and brief creators, influencers, and content partners.
• Lead community management by responding, engaging, and building genuine connections.
• Identify and capitalize on trends before they peak.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across social media platforms.
• Liaise with internal and client teams to ensure alignment and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing social media for lifestyle, beauty, music, or youth brands.
• Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok features, formats, and audiences.
• Creative thinker with a strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Confident in using scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or similar platforms.
• Passionate about emerging trends, pop culture, and social media innovations.
• Ability to handle fast turnarounds and work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
