Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Interim Graphic Designer for a 6-month contract position. The role offers a pay rate of up to £50 per hour and is fully remote. This position is crucial for our bid submissions and requires working from 16:30 into the night (UK time) to ensure that all design tasks are completed by the time the team is back online in the morning. The ideal candidate will possess a solid track record in graphic design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Submissions and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
• Create and design bid documents and other graphic materials using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with our brand standards.
• Work independently overnight to meet tight deadlines, ensuring all design work is completed and ready for review by the morning.
• Maintain open communication with the team to ensure all design needs are met, and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall quality of our bid submissions and other graphic materials.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a graphic designer, with a proven track record in freelance or contract roles.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

• Strong attention to detail and creativity, with the ability to produce high-quality, visually appealing designs.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with the team.

• Availability to work overnight (UK time) to meet project deadlines, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the role.
